Lagos Market Building Collapses After Fire incident
A Lagos market building succumbed to fire damage on Wednesday, collapsing shortly after flames engulfed the structure.
The fire, which initially affected three buildings at Dosumu Market in Idumota, intensified and spread to a fourth building, causing its complete collapse.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
Firefighters successfully reduced the blaze’s intensity, but the close proximity of buildings and the fire’s ferocity led to the tragic collapse.
