Millions of naira worth of goods are destroyed as fire rips through Balogun Market building
Tragically, a three-story building owned by the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation, or LSDPC, on Martins Street at number 74 in Balogun Market was completely destroyed by fire yesterday, destroying commodities worth millions of naira.
An eyewitness reported that the fire began at around 12:45 p.m. but that it was quickly extinguished by men from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service before it could spread to nearby shops.
