Tinubu meets Wike, El-Rufai in Aso Rock
According to Daily Trust, President Bola Tinubu is now meeting with former governors Nyesom Wike and Nasir El-Rufai at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The newspaper claims that Wike arrived at the State House around 1:40 pm and El-Rufai arrived at Aso Rock’s presidential wing at 2 pm.
According to news outlets, Wike and El-Rufai are both cabinet nominees.
El-Rufai has not been approved due to an alleged pending security report, but Wike was investigated and confirmed by the Senate.
There are rumors that initiatives are being taken to guarantee Malam El-Rufai’s confirmation by the Senate.
