Election 2023: INEC Postponed 141 Pollin Units in Imo State

The electoral commission, INEC, has postponed elections in 141 polling units in Imo State.The postponement affects the presidential and national assembly elections in the area and the elections will now hold tomorrow.
This was disclosed in a press briefing by the INEC Chairman, Mr Mahmood Yakubu. Also, elections slated for today in Esan south, Esan North and Ekwebe Local Governments of Edo State were postponed till the 11th of March due to security challenges in the areas.
He also noted challenges faced across Local Governments and Polling Units in Lagos state and stated that the Commission is putting in efforts to be on top of the situation.
