On Saturday, a fire broke out and completely destroyed the Bompai headquarters of the Kano Police Command.

Sources confirmed that the top floor offices were destroyed by the fire, even though the police had not yet made an official declaration about it at the time of publication.

Although no fatalities were reported, priceless documents, furniture, and other items were destroyed.

Among the offices destroyed by the blaze were the finance office and the offices of the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).

However, according to witnesses, the fire did not have an impact on the Commissioner of Police’s office.

According to reports, it took firefighters more than two hours to respond to the distress call, which caused the fire to quickly spread to other offices.
