Naira scarcity: Sex workers in Kogi reject transfer, introduce POS

Sex workers in Kogi State claim they are not excluded from Nigeria’s acute shortage of naira notes.
According to information obtained by DAILY POST, they now have POS in order to protect themselves from customer fraud when making bank transfers.
Many Nigerians are having trouble making purchases despite having money in their bank accounts since the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) set February 10, 2023 as the deadline for the exchange of old for new naira notes.
The new 500 and 1000 note holders in Nigeria are regarded like royalty, making the naira an emergency form of gold.
